We’re Hiring an Account Manager

At Kickdrum, we’re building the agency we always wanted to work at. A place where we work together to solve interesting problems in lots of different ways.

As it turns out, a lot of clients like what we do.

So we’re looking for smart people who want to work with other smart people to solve complex problems. (Well, complex marketing problems. We’re not building spaceships or splicing DNA over here.)

Kickdrum isn’t too big, which is good. It means the people who work here get more opportunities and more ownership of the work they do.  In terms of the work, we emphasize getting it done right, over getting it done quickly. We find that allowing the time to really think through a problem--instead of just reacting to fire drills--makes everyone (including our clients) happier. We don’t always get all the time we’d like, but we always try.

If you want to be challenged by other smart people, be confronted by other good ideas and wrestle with the right way to craft a recommendation, please read on.

The account manager will have wide-ranging client and team support responsibilities:

  • Daily client communication and management of meetings, project deliverables, timelines and budgets

  • Strategic investigation to find the research, proof point or other evidence to help create and support a point of view

  • Some administrative and office support

  • Up to 25% travel requirement

As an employee at Kickdrum, you’ll find all the typical benefits you’re looking for, plus a few that will surprise you. Including:

  • Health Insurance

  • Simple IRA match

  • Flexible work environment

  • Parking and technology reimbursement

We value having personal lives,
opinions delivered with equal parts confidence and humility, honesty, kindness,  and having a job that isn’t boring.

  • Clear communication, in-person and writing

  • Ability to represent ideas with conviction

  • Better than average organization

  • Enthusiasm,  imagination and just a hint of not giving a shit about what other people think.

  • Ability to work on a Mac and use Google docs and slides. Powerpoint when we have to.

Kickdrum is an equal opportunity employer.
